The Nigerian entrepreneur, Alhaji Aliko Dangote is still on the topmost list as Africa’s richest man according to Forbes magazine. The American business magazine made this known on Friday, January 11, 2019.
According to Forbes, Aliko Dangote is worth $9.9 billion. And has been on the number one position of Africa’s list of billionaires for quite some years now.
“Dangote Cement produces 44 million metric tons annually and plans to increase its output 33% by 2020. Dangote also owns stakes in publicly-traded salt, sugar and flour manufacturing companies,” Forbes stated.
Dangote, who owns interests in various sectors of the economy such as cement, sugar, and salt was ranked the 100th richest man in the world in 2018 and 66th on the list of Powerful People, 2018 according to Forbes Magazine.
Forbes Magazine has listed him as the number one on Africa’s list of billionaires for the year 2019.
