The Nigerian Afro-pop singer, Yemi Eberechi Alade , recently hit one hundred million view mark on her YouTube, being the second Nigerian artiste, after Davido to hit the mark. The record was made possible with the video of ‘Johnny’, released in 2014.
She took to the Instagram, and appreciated her fans and well-wishers, with the expression “THANK YOU-THANK YOU-THANK YOU. 100 MILLION VIEWS.” The energetic singer has also won numerous awards: Best African Female at the 2015 and 2016 MTV Awards and “Best Performer” at the 2018 edition.
