Cops on Tuesday arrested an off-duty FDNY firefighter they say choked his girlfriend during an argument in his Bronx home.
Firefighter Justino Sanchez, 41, allegedly attacked his 39-year-old girlfriend just after midnight inside his Parkchester home at 12:15 a.m.
He choked her as they argued in bed and threw her onto the floor, officials said.
The woman immediately called 911 and responding officers took Sanchez into custody without incident, charging him with assault and criminal obstruction of breathing.
His arraignment was pending in Bronx criminal court Tuesday.
Sanchez joined the FDNY in 2008.
