In the late 1966, The independent republic of Biafra was formed and it’s Independence day was announced. But popular opinion at that time had it that the young republic was doomed to fail horribly.
But amidst all odds, the Biafran republic lived to still exist despite the mammoth loss inflicted on it by the anti-secessionist government of Nigeria.

They lost most of their main towns and had many of their promising states overridden by the advancing Federal troops. They lost millions of citizens to the ugly war which lasted 18 painfully long months.
Yet the resilient dream and hope of a united Biafra state still lives on within their hearts. They still remain independent to this very day and the slow but sure fight for secession still continues.
