Hundreds of Cyclists poured out at Bethel’s Court Estate in a successful inaugural ‘Cycling Festival’. This health and well-being showdown was studded with a combination of individuals from all works of life.
The SA to the Governor who attended as Special Guest, made a passionate plea to Diasporans who live especially in America & Asia to look into investing in this industry. The SA Diaspora in her speech, stated that “Health and Wellbeing Industry is worth 4.2 Trillion Dollars”. In her analysis, she explained that so far, Imo State are consumers of the products of this industry and it is about time we become investors in this area, so as to generate wealth, create jobs, reduce health issues and promote physical/mental health Wellness of Imo Citizens.
Straight from the Cycling Event, the Special Adviser to the Governor doubled down to another event; ‘CELEBRATION OF PEOPLE WITH ALBINISM’.
The SA joined her colleague the SPECIAL ADVISER TO THE GOVERNOR ON SPECIAL CITIZENS DR. SAMUELSON EMEHIBE who was representing the Executive Governor.

Speaking at this event, the Special Adviser on Diaspora Affairs (America/Asia) reiterated that the Governor of Imo State is dedicated to inclusion and diversity. The SA Diaspora pledged to continue to be that bridge to connect Imo indigenes living abroad with the activities happening on ground, so that distance will no longer be a barrier in building a stronger Imo State community for the benefit of all Imolites.
