Adamu Fanda has been appointed as Board Chairman of the Nigeria Export Processing Zones Authority (NEPZA).
He was a member of the House of Representatives from Kano State.
The appointment takes effect from September 26, 2020.
It was contained in a memo with file number FMIT/LEG/1426/17 dated October 6.

Nasir Sani-Gwarzo, Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Industry, Trade and Investment, signed the letter.
Martins Odeh, NEPZA Head of Corporate Communications, in a statement, said Fanda’s appointment was sequel to the ministry’s request.
NEPZA MD, Prof. Adesoji Adesugba has commended President Muhammadu Buhari for the prompt manner in which Fanda was appointed.
He said it was indicative of Buhari’s commitment to ensure that NEPZA got a fresh breath of life.
