Months after Meghan’s heartbreaking miscarriage, we can confirm that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are expecting their baby Number 2.
This was confirmed by a spokesperson for the couple on Valentine’s Day. He wrote ‘We can confirm that Archie is going to be a big brother,’ alongside a picture of the couple on a sweet black-and-white photo of Harry sitting on the grass in a garden while Meghan lay with her head in his lap and had her hand on her baby bump.
‘The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are overjoyed to be expecting their second child.’
The royal couple had their first child, Archie Harrison-Mountbatten Windsor two years ago.
In November last year, Meghan had shared the agony of her miscarriage back in July.
In an opinion piece published by New York Times, Meghan wrote: ‘I knew, as I clutched my firstborn child, that I was losing my second.’
The 39-year-old royal said she shared her story to help break the silence around an all-too-common tragedy.
‘Losing a child means carrying an almost unbearable grief, experienced by many but talked about by few,’ Meghan on social media.
