Ejimakor said denying Kanu access to doctors, family members, and British Consul despite court orders was an affront to the judiciary and civilized society.

In a series of tweets, he said the act underscores the illegality of Kanu’s rearrest and rendition from Kenya.
According to Ejimakor: ‘Denying Mazi Nnamdi Kanu court-ordered access to his Doctor, his relatives and the British Consul is an affront to the judiciary and civilized society. Plus, it underscores the illegality of his rendition/detention & legitimizes the popular demand for his unconditional release.’
Africa Today News, New York had reported that the Department of State Services (DSS) denied the British Consul and former Governor of Anambra State, Dr Chukwuemeka Ezeife access to Kanu on Thursday.
Kanu is currently locked up by the DSS, following his rearrest in Kenya.
