Liverpool defense maestro, Virgil van Dijk has issued a warning to Premier League leaders, Manchester City against relaxing or believing the title race over.
Following Chelsea’s 2-2 draw at home to Liverpool on Sunday, Manchester are now 10 points clear at the top of the league table.
But Van Dijk warned Pep Guardiola’s side that both Liverpool and Chelsea are going to focus on themselves and take their remaining games as they come, hoping the table could swing in their favour.
Van Dijk said he will never stop believing the Reds can still win the title, but admitted Pep Guardiola’s side are in a comfortable position.

‘It’s never difficult to believe. It’s a big gap, they [Manchester City] may have the title to lose, but a lot can still happen,’ he told Sky Sports.
‘We have been there before, where we have had a gap in front and we gave it away, so everything is possible.
‘We will focus on ourselves, Chelsea will focus on themselves, and we just have to get results, play good football and win games. It sounds pretty easy, but it’s tough, as we saw today.’
Former leaders Chelsea came from 2-0 down to earn a point from a pulsating 2-2 draw with Liverpool.
City’s lead now stands at 10 points from Chelsea with Liverpool a point further back, albeit with a game in hand.
Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp was absent along with three key players due to positive coronavirus cases, but the Reds still raced into a two-goal lead thanks to parting gifts from Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah before they head off to the Africa Cup of Nations.
