Terrorists on Friday invaded a mosque in Kaduna State and kidnapped no fewer than 14 worshippers during jumat prayer.
Africa Today News, New York reports that the incident occurred in a village at Giwa Local Government Area of Kaduna State.
A resident 0f the village who spoke to newsmen narrated that the bandits surrounded the mosque and abducted 14 people, as well as carted away an unspecified number of cattle from Tudun Amada village in Giwa.
It was gathered further gathered that the bandits, had been trying to invade the village for a long time, but were prevented by vigilante members.

According to another resident, the gunmen divided themselves, while some where operating at the mosque, others moved from house to house, thereby abducting more than ten women.
‘Some of them were however busy carting away domestic animals such as cows, sheep and goat numbering hundreds,’ the resident said.
This was coming less than two weeks after we reported that panic gripped residents of Igabi Local Government Area of Kaduna State as suspected terrorists planted a bomb in a hotel which is situated in the outskirt of Kaduna metropolis.
Africa Today News, New York gathered that the explosion which occurred in the night last week Monday, affected some parts of the building housing a football viewing centre.
Fortunatel no casualty has been recorded as there was nobody inside the building when the bomb went off.
Security operatives led by the Commissioner for Internal Security and Home Affairs, Samuel Aruwan and the Garrison Commander of 1 Mechanised Division of the Nigerian Army, Brigadier General Tamuno Opuene visited the scene of the explosion on Monday.
The insecurity in the country has continued to raise serious concerns amongst many Nigerians with many calling for more strict measures to protect the lives and properties of the citizenry.
