Top football star, Lionel Messi has taken to another entertainment sector to test his talents as he made his acting debut in the second season of an Argentine TV series titled Los Protectores.
From the photos posted by The Sun UK, the PSG appeared to be enjoying himself on set as he smiled and laughed his way through the shoot.
Messi has been named as a “special guest” on the show. However, it is not yet clear how much he will be in the movie.
The second season of the show was filmed in various locations around both Buenos Aires and Paris.
The movie, which is due to be aired in 2023, continues to follow three football agents who “face an unexpected threat to their business”.
However, the soccer player has now been cast in a project that is very different from what we are used to seeing him in. He has now had a role in a television series.

Messi will make a cameo appearance in the second season of the Argentine drama ‘Los Protectores,’ which is gaining popularity in his homeland.
His scene has already been shot, and he completed it just a few days ago. We know this because the images of the footballer on set were shared by the producer himself.
The second season of ‘Los Protectores’ was shot in a variety of locations, including Buenos Aires, but Messi recorded it in Paris, his home since signing with PSG last summer.
The producers have hinted that fans would have to wait until 2023 to see Leo Messi’s interpretation, when the second installment of this Argentine series is released.
