The General Overseer of Citadel Global Community Church, Pastor Tunde Bakare has spoken for the first time since he recorded no single vote during the just-concluded presidential primary of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
Africa Today News, New York has earlier reported that a former governor of Lagos State, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu had been announced the winner of the primary after polling 1,271 votes.
Bakare who was one of the aspirants who had paid N100million to purchase the presidential form and has now praised himself for his conduct during the election.

According to the cleric, he is delighted with the character he showed and has no regrets.
”I am happy that I have passed the test of character by not paying any delegate. I passed the test of courage, by speaking the truth in the midst of wolves and the test of conviction by standing true to my beliefs.
‘Those who will make a difference must be different,’ Bakare said.
Meanwhile, the candidate of the party, Bola Tinubu has announced that he bears no grudges or grievances against anyone, not even those that do not support his ambition.
The former two-term Lagos State governor in a message was full of praises for the party’s delegates and leadership for making him its presidential candidate for 2023 presidential election.
Tinubu, while pointing out that he was intoxicated by the victory, thanked the party’s governors for what he described as their invaluable contributions to internal democracy and unity.
He commended the party’s leadership and organisers for the conduct of a successful convention and thanked the delegates for the confidence they had shown in him.
He particularly commended other aspirants that contested the party’s presidential ticket with him, noting that it is a difficult thing to run for president.
Tinubu said the stiff and bold competition the aspirants offered, made the party stronger and himself a better person.
