The Governor of Kogi State, Yahaya Bello has announced the donation of his campaign office to the presidential candidate of the APC, Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
He made the announcement on Friday during the visit of Tinubu in Abuja.
Tinubu arrived in the company of former All Progressives Congress’ National Chairman, Adams Oshiomhole.

In response, Tinubu appreciated the gesture and promised to work for the party and country’s unity.
The meeting is party of reconciliatory moves following the outcome of the APC presidential primary.
Bello was one of several contestants beaten by Tinubu in the race to clinch the APC’s presidential ticket.
In a related development, Nigeria’s immediate former Transportation Minister, Rotimi Amaechi, has congratulated Bola Tinubu on his emergence as the presidential candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) while promising to give him all the support he needs to become President.
Africa Today News, New York reports that Ameachi was among those Tinubu defeated by a landslide to emerge as candidate of the party on Wednesday.
He polled a total of 1,271 votes – more than four times the votes scored by his closet rival, Amaechi who had 316 votes.
Following his victory, congratulatory messages have continued to pour in for the ex-Lagos State Governor from many APC chieftains, serving governors and his main rival in the 2023 general elections – Atiku Abubakar, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential candidate.
In a statement, he personally signed on Friday which was made available to Africa Daily News, New York, Amaechi, who came a distant second, pledged to support Tinubu in ensuring that the APC maintains its grip on power next year.
‘Congratulations on your well-deserved victory at the APC Presidential Convention held on 07 – 08 June 2022 and extend my best wishes as you prepare for the 2023 Presidential Elections,” the statement partly read.
