Adegboyega Oyetola who is the Osun State Governor has made a full assurance of the State’s electorate that there will be sustained and adequate security for everyone before, during and after the gubernatorial election procedures.
The Osun State Governor had made the statement of the assurance on Wednesday when his re-election campaign train visited Ibokun, Obokun Local Government Area of the State.
In his words, “We have been working on adequate security for this election and we will ensure that every life and property are secured before, during and after the election.
“Go out en-mass and vote and make sure you watch your votes. I believe with this support, we have emerged victorious.”
The governor earlier visited Oba Festus Awogboro, the Alademure of Obokun.

The Osun governor and some gubernatorial candidates had separately signed a peace document by the ‘Vote Don’t Fight Foundation’, of which popular Nigerian hip-hop singer, Innocent Idibia, aka 2Baba is the Peace Ambassador.
Governor Adegboyega Oyetola of the APC, Ademola Adeleke of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Akin Ogunbiyi of the Accord Party and others were signatories.
The Osun State gubernatorial election has be slated for Saturday, July 16, 2022 and the incumbent governor, Adegboyega Oyetola of the All Progressives Congress will be squaring up with Senator Ademola Adeleke of the Peoples Democratic Party and 13 other candidates.
In another report, Governor Gboyega Oyetola has also made open boasts that the All Progressives Congress, APC party would be replicating the victory of its candidate in last Saturday’s Ekiti governorship election in Osun State come 16th July which is the date slated for the Osun State Governorship elections.
The Osun State Governor had stated this at his reelection campaign in Iperindo town, Atakumosa East Local Government Area of the state.
Oyetola, while appealing to the electorate to vote for him and the APC, urged them not to allow themselves to be deceived by the opposition parties.
“Are you not happy about our victory in Ekiti, both states are from the same region and our party will excel more than the results of the Ekiti election,” the Governor who appealed to the electorate not to sell their votes at the July 16 governorship election said
He told them that selling of one’s vote can amount to selling one’s future for a piece meal. The governor also urged the electorate to collect their Permanent Voter Cards, which he described as their power to reelect him.
