Ademola Adeleke who is the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP governorship candidate in Osun State, has openly accused the All Progressives Congress of importing thugs into the state to disrupt the upcoming election in the State.
The former federal lawmaker who spoke during an interview with Arise TV on Thursday had also made some allegations that the state government denied the opposition party access to most of the facilities where they had planned to hold mega rally on Thursday.

He, however, expressed optimism that he would win the election on a landslide if it is conducted free and fair, stressing that the ruling APC has been rejected in the state.
He said, “APC has brought thugs from Lagos State shooting anyhow in the state.
“It is going to be a landslide if the election is free and fair. People have rejected APC in Osun State”.
Speaking on why he was absent from governorship debate, Adeleke said he was busy with campaign.
Osun State Governorship election has been slated to hold on Saturday, July 16.
In another report, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi has asserted that the only way Nigeria can change is when old politicians are removed from office.
Obi made this assertion while speaking during the party’s mega rally on Wednesday in Osogbo.
The presidential candidate said that it is only a vote for Alhaji Lasun Yusuf that could rescue the people of the state from suffering and poverty.
‘We want to change Nigeria and the only way we can change this nation is to remove all these people who have put Nigeria where it is for the past 23 years. This is the time for them to go.’
Obi noted that if the party wins the governorship election on Saturday, their children will have jobs and also prompt payment of worker’ pension and salaries.
“Vote for Labour party so that your children can have jobs. Vote for people that will work for you.
“Vote for Labour party, vote for the future of your children. Vote for the candidate that will be committed to a better Osun state,” Obi said.
