Kamala Harris who is the United States Vice President has openly revealed that it was very awesome and great to have met with her Nigeria counterpart, Professor Yemi Osinbajo.
Africa Today News, New York had earlier reported that the Nigerian Vice President, Osinbajo had on Wednesday, departed Abuja for the United States in order to seek fpr some global partnerships and support for Nigeria’s recently launched Energy Transition Plan.

Osinbajo had also met with Kamala on Friday at the White House where the two vice presidents discussed some issues bothering on the relationship between the two countries.
Kamala, in a post on her official Facebook page after the meeting, cited Nigeria’s leadership as one of the major keys in confronting the country’s challenges.
She wrote, “It was great to meet with Vice President Osinbajo of Nigeria today to discuss strengthening the relationship between the United States and Nigeria.
“African leadership, and in particular, Nigeria’s leadership, is key to confronting regional and global challenges.”
In another report, the Nigerian Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo has made some fresh revealations on Wednesday that for Nigerians to beat the constant issues with power and energy, they would have to spend over $410bn which would be used to deliver its energy transition plan by 2060.
Osinbajo had also made this statement at the global virtual inauguration of Nigeria’s Energy Transition Plan and this had been disclosed in a statement by his spokesman, Laolu Akande.
The detailed plan would be a roadmap to control the dual crises of energy poverty and climate change.
Osinbajo highlighted the significant scale of resources required to attain both development and climate ambitions.
