Media management is a business administration discipline that identifies and describes strategic and operational phenomena and problems in the leadership of media enterprises.

The term media, which is the plural of medium, refers to the communication channels through which we disseminate news, music, movies, education, promotional messages, and other data. It includes physical and online newspapers and magazines, television, radio, billboards, telephone, the Internet, fax, and billboards.

As important and effective as it is to use the media for disseminating information, it is also necessary to evaluate the use of language in passing across your information. Your purpose will only be actualized when/if you effectively use the language for passing your thoughts and intentions.

Fluency in English is the best way to open the media door. Communication plays a major role in every industry. All over the world, people who non-native speakers are deciding to Learn English as their second language. Nowadays, it is important to understand the English language even if it is not your first language.

Important things to consider in other to be effective in media
-Take note of what your purpose is. What do you want to achieve?
-Who are your target audience? Take note of their geography, language, age, social status, level of education etc.
-What type of language do you want to use as a medium of communication?

It is important for you to understand the dynamism of language and it’s ability to evolve and mean different things to different people. So, in choosing a language for media, ensure that a thorough investigation is made on the words you intend to use and ensure that they mean what you exactly want them to mean.
