English Football club, Everton have expressed interest in signing Nigerian-born Leicester City forward Kelechi Iheanacho.
Africa Today News, New York reports that Iheanacho is among the players that are desperate to leave King Power Stadium this summer following the Foxes’ relegation from the Premier League last season.
The Nigeria international is out of contract next summer, and Leicester City would be willing to sell instead of losing him for free.
According to Football Insider, Leicester valued Iheanacho in the £10 million to £15 million price range.
The striker scored eight goals and registered five assists in 35 appearances across all competitions for the former Premier League champions last season.

Iheanacho cost Leicester City £25 million when he arrived from Manchester City in 2019.
In another report, the Nigerian Super Eagles side will begin the quest to participate in the upcoming 2026 World Cup in November in Group C, where they will be hoping to make up for the disappointment of missing out on the 2022 edition which was hosted in Qatar.
Africa Today News, New York recalls that the Eagles missed out on the 2022 edition in Qatar after a shocking loss to Ghana in the last leg of the qualifiers.
Recall that following recent arrangements which will see Africa have as many as nine slots at the next World Cup, Nigeria will no doubt fancy their chances of picking one of the tickets.
They went into draws as one of the seeded teams, based on the last FIFA rankings which was used in picking the nine seeded teams, for a spot in the 2026 edition, which will be hosted by Canada, Mexico and the United States of America.
Super Eagles will need to navigate past five teams in their group which consist of Lesotho, Rwanda, Zimbabwe, Benin Republic and South Africa.
