The vast farm of Mr. Abiodun Ajibola, a kinsman of former Senator Simeon Suleiman Ajibola who represented Kwara South in the Seventh Assembly, was on Monday invaded by gunmen whose life was cut short in cold blood.
Reliable information obtained by Africa Today News, New York, indicates that Mr. Biodun Ajibola, the Farm’s Supervisor, met a brutal fate at the hands of ferocious gunmen on the farms in Isapa, Ekiti Local Government Area of Kwara State.
It’s also learned that he valiantly fought back against the kidnappers to thwart their intentions of demanding ransom.

The source’s explanation revealed that the kidnappers left the driver behind, knowing he had a leg injury.
The source said, ‘Thank God that Senator Simeon Ajibola was not around. Perhaps their intention was to take him away. But the supervisor in charge of the farms was not lucky as he was killed when the kidnappers invaded the farms.’
‘He was said to have been killed when he resisted their attempts to take him away.’
‘Senator Ajibola’s driver attached to the late supervisor was wounded and he is currently in the hospital in Ilorin receiving treatment.’
When asked how sure he was that the gunmen were kidnappers, the source said, ‘The driver told me that they attempted to take him away after killing the supervisor of the farms. But that they abandoned him when they saw some motorcyclists coming their way.’
Additionally, It was also garnered that the incident has been duly reported at the Osi Police Divisional Headquarters in Ekiti Local Government Area, and Ajibola’s remains were subsequently evacuated.
Ajayi Okasanmi, a spokesperson for the state police command, verified the incident during a telephone conversation, stating that the corpse had been move from the scene.
‘The police is on the trail of the gunmen,’ he said.
According to him, the policemen were diligently tracking the hoodlums.
