Ademola Adeleke, the Governor of Osun State, has urged stakeholders throughout the state to provide constructive and practical feedback on government initiatives, as this will help improve governance standards.
Ademola made this appeal via a statement issued by his spokesperson, Mr. Olawale Rasheed, and subsequently shared with journalists in Osogbo.
The governor highlighted that the recent Ipade Imole meeting conducted in Osogbo was created by the state government to function as a forum for public accountability and to elicit feedback from residents.
He also stressed that this meeting would be an ongoing process, fostering a sustained collaboration between the government and prominent stakeholders, aiming to collect feedback and enhance areas that require it.
‘Ipade Imole should be a continuous exercise before we meet physically again. The feedback mechanism must be operational on a 24-hour basis.’

‘All proceedings of the maiden edition must be documented and an interactive platform be created.’
‘In this digital age, my team will also set up a WhatsApp chat room. I will be in that chat room as your governor, we will ensure continuous interaction,’ the statement read
Adeleke encouraged the various participating associations in the inaugural event to generously host a subsequent Ipade Imole, thus passing on the message of the maiden accountability platform.
‘Adeleke said that he was excited and encouraged by the positive review of his records in the last 11 months as well as the candid identification’ of areas of attention by the participants.
‘He, however, said stakeholders’ feedback would afford his administration opportunities to listen to the yearnings of the citizens and deliver dividends of democracy as promised in his electioneering,’ it added.
