Controversial AS Roma manager, Jose Mourinho has been suspended for one Serie A game after he captured on camera making what has been described as a ‘provocative’ gesture towards the Monza bench.
Africa Today News, New York reports that Mourinho was shown a red card by the referee in the second-half stoppage time of the game.
The former Inter Milan coach made a ‘cry-baby’ gesture towards the opponents’ bench after Stephan El Shaarawy scored a late winner.
Serie A’s sports judge announced on Tuesday that the 60-year-old is banned from the touchline for his side’s next game.

The ruling means Mourinho will miss Roma’s trip to his former team, Inter.
In another report, ahead of the 2023 African Cup of Nations tournament which resumes in a few months, Former Ivory Coast and Chelsea striker, Didier Drogba has tagged Nigeria’s Super Eagles as one of the favourites to win it.
Africa Today News, New York reports that the host, Ivory Coast will face the Super Eagles in the second group game and the former Chelsea attacker admitted that it would be tough for both sides.
‘I think that Côte d’Ivoire has every chance of getting out of this group
‘It’s indeed tough with the Super Eagles who are still the favourites of the competition.
‘We have Guinea and Guinea Bissau which will sell their skin dearly. It’s going to be a tough field but it’s the Ivory Coast which the Ivorian public will be there to galvanize the team,’ he said.
Drogba missed the opportunity to win the trophy in 2015 after retiring from the national team in 2013.
