The Academy Awards, commonly and now officially known as the Oscars has announced its 2024 list of nominees publishing a full list of the films which made impact in the year under review.
Popular filmmaker Christopher Nolan’s, “Oppenheimer’, leads the list with 13 nominations.
Africa Today News, New York reports that Oscars are awards for artistic and technical merit in the film industry and are presented annually by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences located in Beverly Hills, California, United States.
The Academy Awards are regarded by many as the most prestigious, significant awards in the entertainment industry worldwide. The Oscar statuette depicts a knight rendered in the Art Deco style.
This year’s award ceremony is slated to hold on the 10th of March.
