Wunmi Aloba, the wife of late Nigerian singer Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad, has made a U-turn on her decision to allow a DNA test to be conducted on their son, Liam.
Africa Today News, New York reports that some Nigerians, including her father-in-law, Joseph Aloba, have been clamoring for a DNA test to be conducted on Liam to ascertain his true paternity following the tragic death of the rapper.
In a recent turn of events, Wunmi, who had previously expressed her willingness for a DNA test on her son, said she is no longer open to a DNA test on Liam.
Speaking in an audio message making the rounds on X, Wunmi said only her late husband has the right to request a DNA test from her.
She claimed that Mohbad disvirgined her and he is the only man she has ever known.

Wunmi said: “Mohbad disvirgined me; nobody has the right to tell me to do a DNA test. I have never slept with any man except him. I will never do any DNA; no one can tell me to do DNA except I wish to. Koni daa fun gbogbo yin ranting about DNA.”
Owodunni Ibrahim aka Primeboy, a childhood friend of the late singer, Ileriouluwa Aloba, popularly called Mohbad, has filed a petition before the police against the deceased’s widow, Wunmi, for alleged false accusations and threats to life.
There have been public concerns regarding the paternity of Mohbad’s son, Liam, and the circumstances that surround the death of the late 27-year-old singer.
Mohbad was a signee under Marlian Records owned by Afeez Fashola, aka Naira Marley.
After his death, Marley and a popular Lagos socialite, Balogun Eletu, aka Sam Larry; were arrested and interrogated by the Lagos State Police Command to give accounts of what they knew about Mohbad’s death.
