Governor Umo Eno of Akwa Ibom State has celebrated his one-year anniversary by allocating 150 units of the 236 two-bedroom apartments at the Grace Estate to the state’s civil servants, a gesture that acknowledges their dedication and service to the state.
Governor Eno, during the commissioning of the 236 two-bedroom housing estate in Ibiono Ibom and Ikono local government areas, emphasized that a fair and transparent raffle draw would be conducted to select the beneficiaries, eliminating any possibility of bias or favoritism.
Governor Eno further elaborated that this initiative aligns with his administration’s commitment to enhancing the quality of life for Akwa Ibom workers by offering accessible and affordable housing options through a comprehensive low- and medium-cost housing program.
According to a statement released by the Government House Press Corps on Sunday in Uyo, these developments were made public for the benefit of the press and the general public.

The Head of Civil Service must ensure that only people from levels 01 to 08 express intention and cannot do that expression more than once.
“This will be done through a raffle draw because we don’t want anything to be put under the table. For expression of interest you will pay N50, 000 (fifty thousand naira). When you pay, you will collect a form. We are going to set a day within the next one month, we will all gather at the amphitheatre.
