Governors Issa Moussa of Zinder Region, and Zakiri Umar of Maradi, both in Niger Republic graced the APC campaign in Kano on Thursday, January 31.
The Governors adorned the APC branded traditional attires.
The visit of these Nigerien Governors has elicited criticisms from members of the public as many questioned the rationale behind governors from a neighboring country coming strictly to campaign for Buhari and the Kano State Governor, Ganduje.
Meanwhile, Buhari has preferred to build a railway leading from Nigeria to Maradi in Niger Republic, which is obviously the home of one of the Governors, while excluding the SouthEastern part of Nigeria.
While the electoral law is silent on such foreign collaboration, Nigerians have condemned in strong term the campaign for re-election of Buhari by the two governors from Niger republic.
