President Mohammadu Buhari’s maladministration has further made lies, deceit and propaganda their trademark that the citizenry barely pay heed to them anymore.
They have lied about virtually everything, and places they can’t lie they use deceit, or employ the use of propaganda just to cover the true state of things.
In most demeaning manners, even the Vice President, Professor Yemi Osibanjo has been compelled severally to deny his speech hours after he made them.
They started from boasting that they have defeated Boko Haram, when the attack by the Islamic terrorist group continued; they changed the narratives and said they have defeated them “Technically.”
They have constantly lied about the number of soldiers killed by Boko Haram and has even gone ahead to give them secret mass burials.
They derided Goodluck for paying petroleum subsidy, and Buhari even said in an interview that there is nothing like subsidy.
He has continued to pay subsidy since then, and has even paid more than what Jonathan paid.
Remember he increased the pump price of petroleum products as he told Nigerians he has removed subsidy.
He claimed that he will convert all the jets in the presidential fleet into a National carrier, over 3 years, he has been ‘cruising’ all the jets, and has gone ahead to give Nigerians ordinary logo as National carrier.
“Mr Integrity” reinstated Maina who was sacked by Goodluck for pension scam and even gave him security guards.
He covered the 25 billion dollars contract scam of NNPC.
He reinstated the Executive Secretary of NHIS who was indicted of misappropriating 10 billion naira.
They use lies, deceit and propaganda to the extent of denying international factual reports about Nigeria.
When Amnesty International released the video of the extrajudicial killings of IPOB peaceful protesters, they denied it even with the video evidence.
When it was reported that Nigeria has taken over India as home of the poorest people in the world, they denied it.
When Buhari was invited to the ICC, they lied about the real reason why he was invited and told Nigerians Buhari was honoured, till ICC said the truth about what transpired.
They lied that they never paid ransom for the release of Dapchi girls, but UN has stated otherwise and as always they are still denying it.
