Erelu Bisi Fayemi, wife of Ekiti state governor, Kayode Fayemi has won the “Gender Mainstreaming Award.”
An award presented to the government of the state by the UN Women.
The Sustainable Development Goal’s Secretary, Mr Olukayode Adunmo, expresses his delight at the feat, emphasizing that one of the seventeen sustainable goals, precisely, goal five is to, “Achieve gender equality and empower all women and Girls.”
He buttresses the willingness of the State Sustainable Development Goals office in ascertaining equity in gender policies.
