The Nigerian Police Force has debunked the news going round on social media that its personnel sent to the North-eastern part of the country to compliment the military effort in the ongoing fight against insurgents, reneged.
DCP Jimoh Moshood dismisses the protest claim. He affirmed that most of the personnel were done with the training and posted over a week.
In his words “The force wishes to state that the video was mischievously doctored and circulated to mislead the public. There was no protest by any of the 2,000 personnel undergoing special Forces training in the Northeast.”
DCP Moshood confirmed that all personnel have been posted to the Frontline in Borno, Yobe and Adamawa states.
