Business Background
Alaowerri was established in December 2012. The name was inspired and captivated of Owerri which is the capital of Imo State, Nigeria, known as the “Heart of Iboland”. Owerri consists of three dominant states ,Owerri Municipal, Owerri North and Owerri West. They are bordered by Otamiri River on the East and on the South, Nworie River. Owerrie is descriptive as the entertainment capital of Nigeria and the capital of the Republic of Biafra. Dominant religious practice in Owerri is Christianity, Catholics and Anglicans are the largest following religion.

Our restaurant is available for smaller private events: weddings, business lunches, dinners. We also cater for all sorts of events including Weddings, Birthdays, Christenings, Business Meetings.

The normal combination is made up of two vegetables. It’s either you use Ugu and Uziza, Ukazi and Uziza or Oha and Uziza with Stock Fish, Dried Fish or Assorted Meat.
