The Independent National Electoral Commission releases 2019 general elections list.
John Omede emerges as the youngest vice presidential candidate at age, 30. He is the vice presidential candidate of the New Nigeria People’s Party.
The officially released final list of candidates eligible to participate in the 2019 General Elections include candidates for the presidential, senatorial, House of Reps and state Assemblies. The information was made known via the verified Twitter handle of the Commission, @inecnigeria.
The presidential candidates’ list include 144 names as well as the parties’ presidential candidates and their running mates, and total of 72 presidential candidates and another 72 vice-presidential candidates.
The list includes 28 women either as the candidate or the running mate.
