The GOP members of the Senate are expected this week to vote on the border wall proposition demanded by President Trump to facilitate the end of the partial government shutdown. This plan is meant to offer the Democrats temporary protections for DACA recipients so that Trump’s $5.7 billion funding request for a border wall would be granted.
