Actress Jennifer Lawrence has lowered the asking price of her New York City penthouse for a second time in a bid to reflect current conditions in the Manhattan luxury condo market. Many of New York’s unsold condos are the result of a boom since 2013 that has produced thousands of new units most city residents can’t afford, according to real estate marketplace StreetEasy.

Lawrence, the award-winning star of Silver Linings PlaybookThe Hunger Games and American Hustle, put her penthouse at The Laurel up for sale In July. Amid the downturn in the area’s condo market, she has lowered the original price of $15.45 million to $14.25 million and now down to $12 million.

Spread across the top of the 30-story building, the residence combines comfort and luxury with three bedrooms, five bathrooms and 3,000-square-foot, two-floor terraces with sweeping views of the skyline and Hudson River.

The penthouse offers all one could ask for when entertaining guests, including an outdoor kitchen, fireplace with pergola and built-in ping-pong table.

The 4,073-square-foot unit includes three bedrooms and five baths and is filled with light streaming through walls of glass. The formal living and dining room is ideal for large gatherings, while the eat-in chef’s kitchen has everything for the serious cook. The spacious master suite is truly a personal retreat. Building amenities include a concierge, full-time doorman, gym, pool, sauna, screening room and private storage.

Taking a loss on the property might not faze one of the highest-paid actresses in Hollywood, according to toptenrealestatedeals.com. Lawrence, who topped Forbes’ annual list of the world’s highest-paid actresses in 2015 and 2016, has raked in millions from successful movie roles and endorsements, including deals with brands like Dior. Though Lawrence got her big break in New York, she now spends most of her time near film studios in Los Angeles.
