Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, the Leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) has taken to his verified Facebook page to warn against an alleged police raid which is mainly targeted at top IPOB officials in Abia state.
This is coming after IPOB members dared the Federal Government after plots to disrupt the burial were uncovered. The burial of the parents of the leader of Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu comes up next week, precisely February 14 and already, tension is mounting in Afaraukwu, Umuahia, the country home of the Kanus.
In his words:
“Be aware!”
“We received information that the Nigerian Army will launch surprise searches in hotels around Umuahia axis, they monitor most hotels hoping that top #IPOB servants may come in early before the burial date. ”
“Stay safe & avoid being kidnapped.”
