The Minister of Aviation, Senator Hadi Sirika, on Monday, stated that the Federal Government would soon start the disbursement of the ₦5bn bailout it approved for the operators of the Aviation sector.
Sirika stated this at the opening of a three-day public hearing on the six executive bills meant to reorganize the civil aviation agencies in the country.

He said the airline operators would get N4bn while other businesses in the Aviation sector would be given ₦1bn
The Senate has, however, said the money would not be enough to keep the airline operators in the business.
The minister stated that the federal government is doing everything it can to reposition the aviation industry.
