President Muhammadu Buhari on Saturday sent condolences to the family, friends, and acquaintances of Yinka Odumakin, who died in the early hours of the day due to Covid-19 complications.
Until his death, Odumankin was the publicity secretary of the Yoruba socio-political group, Afenifere.
The late Yoruba Sage was a staunch critic of Buhari and his administration, accusing the president of nepotism.
In one of the contradictions of Odumakin’s political career, he was also the spokesman of Buhari in 2011 when he ran for President on the platform of Congress for Progressive Change (CPC).
