Prince Philip, the husband of Queen Elizabeth II, is dead. The Duke of Edinburgh died on Friday at Windsor Castle in England.
According to Nytimes, the Buckingham Palace said he passed away peacefully.

Recall that Philip had been hospitalised several times and recently in February.
The 99-year-old also had a successful surgery for a pre-existing heart condition at St Bartholomew’s hospital and was discharged last month.
