Fresh reports reaching the desk of Africa Today News, New York has revealed that another set of Abuja-Kaduna train attack victims have been released by terrorists who have held them captive for over 100 days.
More than 100 days ago, the terrorist bandits had attacked a train travelling from Abuja to Kaduna and abducted scores of passengers while many were killed during the dastardly attack on the train.
The terrorists had demanded the release of their children in security custody as part of the negotiation for the release of the over 60 kidnapped victims.

On June 12, about 11 of the victims were released while others continued in hostage
Malam Tukur Mamu, Media Consultant to controversial Islamic Cleric, Sheikh Ahmad Gumi who has been negotiating with the terrorists, disclosed the release of additional seven victims on Saturday.
It had been previously reported that some of the relatives, friends and well-wishers of the remaining 50 kidnapped Abuja-Kaduna train passengers have staged a peaceful street protest in Kaduna while demanding for the immediate rescue of their loved ones who have been held in captivity for over 100 days.
The protesters, who had hit the street at 7:30 am, had also stormed the Nagwamatse House which is located along the busy Ali Akilu Road, Kaduna with their protest. Hundreds of families and friends of the victims carried placards with different inscriptions to demand the release of their loved ones.
The protest leader, Dr Abdulfatai Jimoh, had also pleaded to the Federal Government of Nigeria to do everything humanly possible to rescue their loved ones without delay
According to him, “today is exactly 100 days since our loved ones were abducted. It was meant to be a journey of two hours; however, it turned out to be 100 harrowing days. Since then things have not been the same with us.”
He said they have been appealing to the government in the last 100 days to rescue their loved ones, but so far they have not seen much, expressing disappointment. He also reiterated that they are appealing again to the government to do all that is necessary to bring out their loved ones in the shortest time possible.
