One of the ways you can keep up on the growth of your organisation and provide an avenue of sustainability is to keep looking for opportunities to grow. In a revolving world like ours, were new information, innovation and technology seem to be the order of the day, it is necessary for us to keep up with the trend in order not to have a business/process that is outdated, out-phased, money consuming and time wasting. It is the responsibility of a business owner to keep looking for ways to enhance and improve their business plans.
As you respond to your business needs and wants and work towards its growth, you may discover that one of the things you might need to do, includes making changes. These changes might be scary and uncomfortable; It might be unfamiliar and nerve wrecking; it might even be unwelcoming and unplanned for but first, you need to find out if it is going to contribute to the growth and establishment of your organization and if your answer is yes, dive straight into it. You may also have long-term ambitions for your business. Whatever your motivation, to maximize growth potential you need a clear opportunity that fits both your business and your own personal drivers.
Take some time to ask yourself these questions and be sincere with your responses:
1. Are these changes short-term or long-term?
2. Are my willing to adapt to the changes that comes with this decision?
3. Does this new opportunity work in line with the vision and mission of my organization?
4. Will this new opportunity bring about a compromise that will be detrimental to my company’s growth and future?
