Nigerian comedian and entertainment mogul Ayodeji Makun, famously known as AY, has gracefully responded to the recent scrutiny surrounding his interview with popular Talk Show host, Teju Oyelakin.

AY and Basketmouth’s feud has been a constant topic for discussion over the course of 17 years, leading to several interviews where they have commented on the ongoing discord between them.

However, in his most recent interview, AY firmly stated that he has finally decided to put an end to all attempts at reconciling with Basketmouth. A declaration that has sparked controversies.

The interview conducted by Teju BabyFace has not escaped backlash from the public and has garnered negative reactions from multiple sources.

Amidst the backlash, AY took to his Instagram page last Thursday to address what he humorously referred to as the ‘social media magicians.’ He expressed his delight in providing them with an engaging topic of conversation.

He said: ‘Intelligence is analyzing things as they are. Imagination is conceiving them as they could be. Morality is conceiving them as they should be. Magic is making them occur the way you conceive them for your needed trend.’

He further extended a shout-out to all those considered as social media magicians, subtly acknowledging that the interview might have stirred some controversy, but he seemed satisfied with sparking honest and innocent discussions during the exchange with Teju BabyFace Oyelakin.

‘Shout out to all social media magicians. I’m happy to give boring people something to discuss over an honest and innocent interview with @tejubabyfaceoyelakin,’ he said.

The ongoing feud between AY and Basketmouth has kept fans and media alike on their toes for years, and it seems this latest development will continue to fuel debates and discussions.

While AY may have chosen to close the door on reconciliation, only time will tell if the two comedians can find a way to mend fences in the future. For now, the entertainment world eagerly awaits their next move and reactions to this latest revelation.
