The Coalition of United Political Parties (CUPP) has asked President Muhammadu Buhari to lead his campaign basically to demonstrate his fitness for the country’s top job.
The National Chairman, Olagunsoye Oyinlola, made the call while addressing journalists in Abuja on Friday, and decried the level of insecurity in the country and stated that it will affect the conduct of the general elections if left unchecked.
He then called on the president Buhari to overhaul the nation’s security architecture.
The coalition has also urged the president to sign the Electoral Act Amendment Bill in order to guarantee free and fair elections.
