The Independent National Electoral Commission authenticates the 2019 general elections arrangements the way they will flow:91 political parties will partake in the elections with total voting population of 84,004,084. This was re-affirmed by INEC National Commissioner and Voter Education Committee, Mr Festus Okoye.
He further stated that election will be carried out in 1,558 constituencies and 774 local government areas in the country. The summation of results will be done in 8,809 registration areas/wards and in 119,973 Polling Units and 57,023 voting points nationwide.
The Presidential election will be contended by 73 candidates while gubernatorial will be contested by 1,068 participants in states of the federation.
Okoye buttresses that the collection of voters card(PVC’s) will be on, in all local government offices until February 8,2019.
