A huge majority of Nigerians have lamented as the previously announced scarcity of Premium Motor Spirit, popularly known as petrol, resurfaced in some locations around Lagos State and some other States in Nigeria.
The Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria (IPMAN) had on Tuesday in a fresh announcement explained that the operating environment had become hostile to their businesses which was why the fuel scarcity issue resurfaced.
He had given this as the reason for fuel scarcity in Lagos and other parts of the country.

The Lagos Zonal Chairman of IPMAN, Akin Akinrinade stated that it’s no longer feasible to sell petrol in Nigeria at the recommended price of ₦165 to a litre, adding that the landing cost of petrol was between ₦175 to ₦178 naira per litre.
Nigerians took to social media, calling out the All Progressives Congress, APC, over the fuel scarcity which seems to be recurring this year.
