Obasanjo Shouldn't Preach Morality – Atiku’s Loyalist, Mahdi

Shehu Mahdi who is  a Kaduna-based vocal commentator and a well known loyalist and supporter of the PDP Presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar has come out to openly mock the former President of Nigeria, Olusegun Obasanjo.

Mahdi had also made some open accusations on the former Head of State for claiming and preaching uprightness despite all the allegations which had been levelled against him.

In a Twitter post, the activist had also revealed that the former Plateau governor had been jailed for corruption put the blame on the retired General.

“Joshua Dariye said of the amount he was jailed for, N100m was given to Obasanjo organization. Obasanjo is all over preaching morality.

“His first wife Mrs Oluremi, first daughter Senator Iyabo, and cry-out from his son Gbenga confirm that Obasanjo has been in a moral bankruptcy crisis”, he wrote.

Mahdi has been reported to be a staunch supporter of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential candidate, Atiku Abubkar.

The former President has also been speculated to be currently orking for Labour Party (LP) flagbearer, Peter Obi.

In another report, Olusegun Obasanjo has denied ever singing the praise of former Lagos governor Bola Tinubu during the latter’s visit to his residence a few weeks ago.

Obasanjo pointed out that from his experience in life so far, only military-trained personnel were good managers of people and not civilians like Tinubu.

The rebuttal by the ex-Head of State was issued on Sunday by his spokesperson, Kehinde Akinyemi in a statement which was obtained by Africa Today News, New York.

Obasanjo went on to assert that was no way he could not have made any remark at the expense of his noble military profession.

A viral WhatsApp message by a group, ‘National Patriots’, claimed that the retired General described Tinubu as a super politician.
