English giants, Manchester United have issued a strong statement after their embattled forward Cristiano Ronaldo’s explosive interview with British veteran journalist Piers Morgan.
Africa Today News, New York reports that Ronaldo had just recently granted an exclusive interview with Morgan where he lashed out at Manchester United and their manager Erik ten Hag.
The Portugal captain pointed out Man United had betrayed him and that he does not respect Ten Hag.
However, while reacting to the development, Man United, in a statement via its website on Monday, said: ‘Manchester United notes the media coverage regarding an interview by Cristiano Ronaldo.’

It added; ‘The club will consider its response after the full facts have been established.’
‘Our focus remains on preparing for the second half of the season and continuing the momentum, belief and togetherness being built among the players, manager, staff, and fans.’
Africa Today News, New York reports that the 37-year-old had claimed he was betrayed by the Red Devils and made it clear he cannot respect manager Erik ten Hag.
The Premier League club responded by issuing a terse statement revealing they were considering their options.
Ronaldo, who did not feature in United’s 2-1 win at Fulham, is now training with Portugal’s national team ahead of the 2022 World Cup.
He has now taken to his Instagram to state that his focus is absolutely on the upcoming tournament in Qatar.
Ronaldo wrote: ‘Total and absolute focus on National Team work. United group, towards one objective: realise the dream of all Portuguese people!’
It will be the fifth outing at the World Cup for the former Juventus and Real Madrid superstar.
