To ensure complete compliance with the curfew, armed security personnel were positioned at key points across the city, granting access exclusively to vehicles carrying special duty workers heading to their workplaces.

The 24-hour curfew led to the closure of educational institutions, markets, and all commercial enterprises, including fuel stations, as per on-site observations.

Individuals within the community, who offered their opinions on the matter, expressed dissatisfaction with the government’s decision to enforce the curfew, citing the ongoing economic struggles faced by many.
