Imo Gov’t Queries IMSU VC Over Alleged Mismanagement Vice-Chancellor of Imo State University, Prof. Adaobi Obasi

The Imo state Governor, Senator Hope Uzodinma, has instructed that the Vice-Chancellor of Imo State University, Prof. Adaobi Obasi be issued a query on alleged mismanagement of February 2020 impress of the institution.

The directive, according to our state correspondent, was given to the state Commissioner for Education, Prof. B. T. O Ikegwuoha to carry out without delay.

Africa Daily News, New York gathered from a source that the said February impress was meant to pay the salaries of IMSU academic and no academic staff.

The source disclosed further that the explanation given by the VC as regards the utilization of the said impress was not satisfactory enough, hence the reason for the query order.
