Two Killed As Explosion Rocks Obasanjo's LibraryOlusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library (OOPL)

No fewer than two persons were reportedly killed when a gas exploded within the Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library (OOPL) in Abeokuta, Ogun State, yesterday Africa Today News, New York reports.

The library is not far from the Conference Hotel, owned by a former governor of the state, Gbenga Daniel, where a gas explosion killed four persons two days ago.

Africa Today News, New York gathered that the explosion at the library occurred around 11am at the Marcque event centre within the facility.

Investigations revealed that technicians were refilling gas of the Air Conditioner (AC) when it exploded.

‘Two people have already been confirmed dead,’ a worker at the library said.

It was also gathered that security guards at the gate turned visitors back, as only the truck of the State Fire Service and some officials were allowed into the premises.
