2023 Only Those Who Love Suffering Will Vote APC –Abdullahi

Ahead of next year’s general elections, a former Minister of Sports, Bolaji Abdullahi, has sent out a warning to Nigerians against voting for the All Progressives Congress (APC) in 2023 urging them to free themselves from suffering with their votes.

Abdullahi asserted that only Nigerians who love suffering would still go on to vote for APC to remain in power in 2023.

The former Minister made this assertion while addressing journalists in Ilorin, Kwara State yesterday. The former minister declared that the ruling APC has ruined Nigeria.

He maintained that Nigerians have suffered enough under President Muhammadu Buhari-led government.

Abdullahi went on to posit that Nigerians should not be talking about APC again after failing in different sectors.

He insisted that the 2023 election would be between the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, and other parties.

According to Abdullahi: ‘You have to have a love for suffering to even consider voting for APC again after how they have ruined this country.

‘If not for the way things are, nobody should even be talking about APC again after the mess they have brought to the country. The next election is going to be the PDP and any other party but APC.’

Meanwhile, the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) has reiterated its position on the Muslim-Muslim presidential ticket of the All Progressives Congress (APC), maintaining that its opposition to the ticket remains the way it is.

It also disclosed that contrary to speculations, it had not reached any sort of agreement with the APC presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu.

Africa Today News, New York reports that there was a story that had gone viral on Monday that Tinubu met with the leadership of CAN over the controversy that arose from the party’s choice of a Muslim-Muslim ticket for the 2023 general elections.

Tinubu selected a former governor of Borno State, Kashim Shettima as his running mate, a move which angered the Christian population in the country.
