2023 Reject Atiku, Obi - Tinubu Urges Ekiti Residents

Ahead of the 2023 general election, the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu, on Sunday informed the people of Ekiti to totally reject the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar and this of the Labour Party (LP), Peter Obi for a number of reasons.

Tinubu made this known while speaking at the swearing-in ceremony of Abiodun Oyebanji as the governor of Ekiti State.

While addressing the crowd, Tinubu charged the people to turn a blind eye to both Atiku and Obi as people they did not know.

‘Another election is coming in February. They are coming. One will call himself Atiku, another will call himself Peter Obi. You don’t know them. The only person you know is Bola Ahmed Tinubu and you must deliver to me 95 percent of the votes,’ he said.

The former Lagos State Governor said he would fulfill his promises, adding that he would take care of the people and their children.

‘Don’t be far away, the people that will give you a promise and keep the promise are here. We will take care of you and your children. We will give you a great future. We promise you a better Nigeria. May God Almighty continue to bless us all,’ he stated.

Africa Today News, New York reports that Tinubu had over the weekend expressed his confidence in winning the 2023 presidential election vowing to fix Nigeria if he wins.

Tinubu made this declaration while speaking on Saturday at the 7th edition of the Kaduna Investment Summit in Kaduna.

He promised to solve all the challenges confronting the country, if elected president, adding that: ‘I’m confidently telling you that I will lead this country in 2023 with your support.

‘I have the ability to surmount all problems to bring the country on the right track and prosperity’.

Commenting on security, Tinubu stressed that, no inch of this country will be conceded to banditry, we will fight it to a standstill.
