The Governor of Sokoto State who also doubles as the Director General of the Peoples Democratic Party Presidential Campaign Council (PDP-PCC), Aminu Tambuwal, has lashed out at the All Progressives Congress (APC) accusing them of plotting to hack the server of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
Speaking at the party’s presidential campaign rally, at the Sani Abacha Stadium in Kano, on Thursday, he expressed regret that Nigeria was paying bitterly for the in-fighting within the ruling party’s leadership, which he alleged has dragged the country to its lowest point ever, adding that they were almost bringing down the entire system in the pursuit of their selfish interests.

According to the governor, the ruling party was bent on pulling down the system because they were faced with imminent defeat at the polls.
He, however, assured that the PDP would not let that happen, insisting that they would ensure that a free, fair, and transparent elections hold on February 25.
He also told the crowd that the APC was planning to bring in money, both old, new, and fake currencies, with a view to deceiving them on election day.
‘It is your money that would have been used for your security, to provide you with infrastructure, to provide employment and enabling environment for your businesses to grow, your money which they had stashed away that they now want to come and buy your votes with’
He charged them to reject all their financial overtures.
Africa Today News, New York reports that the presidential flag bearer, Atiku Abubakar has also promised to open up the nation’s borders as well as put an end to insecurity in the country, if elected.
